Both house caucuses release budgets with natural resources cuts (UPDATED)

Both the house Republicans and Democrats have released proposed state budgets in the last few days. Both documents include millions in cuts to the state’s natural resources budgets. In total, the house Democrats cut $39 million, while the Republican budget cuts $30 million, including closing the Puget Sound Partnership.

The original version of this post wrongly had the Democratic cuts at $5 million.
