HB 1097 (Concerning tribal consultation regarding hunting rights and activities) was passed out of the House Committee on Community Development, Housing and Tribal Affairs yesterday. The bill was amended before it passed, removing a reference that limited the bill to only treaty tribes.

HB 1097 (Concerning tribal consultation regarding hunting rights and activities) has been scheduled for a hearing in the House Committee on Community Development, Housing and Tribal Affairs at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25. Thill bill has also been scheduled for an executive session the next day, which means it could be passed out of committee then.
The public hearing will be held in House Hearing Room E of the O’Brien Building.
