Senate concentrated animal feeding operations bill scheduled for hearing

SB 6568 (Establishing a water discharge permit for concentrated animal feeding operations that is issued under the sole authority of state law) will be part of a public hearing in the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Water & Rural Economic Development at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 2. The hearing will be held in Senate Hearing Room 3 of the Cherberg Building.

HB 2032 (Concerning tribal-state relations) passed out of the House Community Development, Housing and Tribal Affairs Committee yesterday on a 4-3 vote.
